Favourite diving sites:  TARANTO - Italian battle ship sunken in 1943 during the World War II having struck a mine in front of the Greben-Reef Islands. It was a 60 m long and a 10 m wide boat built in 1912. Its wreck bow leans against an underwater reef at a depth of 23 to 30 m while the stern lies at the seabed at a depth of 40 to 52 meters. Dive down the rope to the bow; see its interior and descent deeper to the big steam engine. It cracks and holes are a lively habitat to a great number of fish and colourful sponges. Advance level, depth ranging from 23 to 52 m CAPE BEZDAN and BLUE CAVE Diving at the Kolocep Island near the lighthouse Bezdan (Abyss) along the underwater reef 5 – 27m deep descending in a step-like way to a depth of 57m. Explore a 10m wide cave at a depth of 10m, with bottom covered with small stones and colourful walls with sea –moss ,sponges and jellyfish. The interior of the cave at the top gets narrower creating a small lake at the surface. Take a 1 m long and deep passageway to reach the lake surface. Proceed to the wreck parts of the boat Aurora, built in 1953 as navy sweeper and adapted into an excursion boat in 1968. Aurora was sunken down during the Croatian Independence War in 1992. All levels, depth ranging from 3 - 57 m  GREBENI REEFS & WALL – Diving in the area of the picturesque Grebeni with two big reefs and a lighthouse perched on one of them. Through the narrow passageway between the reefs reach the open sea side of the reefs ribbed with numerous cricks abounding in marine life. At a depth of 25 m take another passage and dive to the edge of a huge vertical wall. All levels, depth ranging from 3 – 40 m ISLET OF ST ANDREW – WALL & CAVE Diving at the south-western side of the St Andrew’s (Sveti Andrija) islet, situated at 3 nautical miles from Kolocep. At the highest point of a cliff there is a lighthouse built in 1873, the first one the ships meet when entering Croatian part of Adriatic from Otrant. This location is well known for the habitat of the dark red coral and a steep underwater cliff descending at a depth of 80 m. Dive up to the reef edge and then down the steep wall. Enjoying the excellent dive into the cave in the wall with the beautiful corals. Stone bass, lobsters, murras and shoal of various fishes can be seen in the sea around.
